During 2014 G G Services‘ trusty Toyota Hi-Ace was replaced with a 4-year-old Mercedes-Benz Sprinter.

After much tedious investigation it proved impractical (especially from a financial view) to convert the Sprinter’s high-performance factory-fitted rear air-conditioner to mains power. Finally the existing unit was sacrificed for a caravan-style roof-top unit. At the same time substantial thermal wool insulation was added to the walls and roof.

The technical fit-out as described on the “Production Vehicle” page takes about three hours for one person to install or remove.
